This event is to celebrate National Writing Day, which is a project to inspire people across the UK to get writing. 

This event will be run by Susanna Lewis who is a local author, therapeutic writer, blogger and passionate advocate of improving mental health through the craft of writing. The event will be part presentation and part workshop enabling participants to do some writing of their own. 

No writing experience is necessary as this event hopes to encourage writers of all ages and abilities to start writing, with the aim of improving their mental health. 

Participants are asked to bring a notebook and pen. Refreshments will be provided. 

Free admission but booking is required via the library as there are limited places.
